Who I am

I am primarily a Digital Effects Designer currently working with Oceaneering International as a Senior 3D Artist. I have a decade of industry experience and have been a part of many 3D Visualization and VFX Projects. I am equally at home troubleshooting a 3DS Max Pipeline, working through complex VFX Shots, or preparing a breakdown and resource allocation plan for an upcoming production. 

I feel that I have learnt a lot while pursuing my Post Graduation in Bournemouth University, UK. Although much emphasis was on softwares like Houdini, Nuke and PFTrack, studying and working with people from different cultural background helped me develop a different perspective.

Senior 3D Artist (2015 - Present)

Oceaneering International – Chandigarh

  • Responsible for preparing work estimates and bid documentation for projects.
  • Handling all sort of client communications throughout production.
  • Designing the technical approach and pipeline for the production.
  • Work Closely with Design Engineers to provide 3D Rendered Images and Animations as per the specifications of each project.
  • Utilize 3D Modelling, Mapping, Texturing, Lighting and Compositing Techniques to create realistic looking visual elements.
  • Creating Particle Effects, Rigid Body Dynamics, Volume and Fluid Effects to create realistic looking digital effects.

SIKKIM MANIPAL UNIVERSITY, INDIA

Successfully completed 2 group projects, 1 major individual project. This included techniques like 3D Modeling, Lighting, Animation, Particles, Dynamics in 3DS Max, Basic Rotoscopy, Visual Effects, Color Correction and Cleanup in After Effects.
Completed Graduation with Academic Distinction, hence became the first choice among faculties to work on live projects.
